Digital adoption platform: the NAVAGE approach

A digital adoption platform (DAP) helps users get things done inside an application: in-app guidance, onboarding, contextual help, adoption analytics. NAVAGE does that job, differently.

What a DAP is expected to do

  • Guide the user step by step through a flow: account opening, online request, first setup.
  • Onboard a new user without training or documentation to read.
  • Answer questions when they arise, inside the application.
  • Measure adoption: completed flows, abandoned steps, unanswered requests.

How most DAPs get there

With product tours, tooltips, checklists and walkthroughs, hand-written in an editor and laid over the interface. Every modified screen breaks the tour; someone rewrites it.

More recently, with an AI agent that reads the screen and improvises the next step. Quick to deploy, impossible to guarantee: the agent may describe a button that does not exist.

What NAVAGE does differently

  • No tour to write: we prepare the assistant on your application, you validate what it can do, and you are warned when it changes.
  • No improvisation: the assistant only offers what actually exists. A missing flow is refused, not invented.
  • No screen reading: the assistant does not see your users’ interface.
  • A conversational assistant rather than a visual overlay: the user says what they want to do, the assistant highlights, performs or takes them there.
  • Answers drawn from your content, with the source, or an admission that it does not have the information.
  • Built-in completion metrics: what is finished, what blocks, what remains unanswered.

Who it is for

Applications where a guidance mistake is expensive: public services, banks, insurers, e-health, then SaaS. Where “roughly right” is not acceptable.

What NAVAGE does not do

  • It does not read your users’ screen.
  • It invents no action and no button.
  • It does not answer without a source.
  • It makes you write no scenario.
  • It is neither a product-tour editor, nor a browser extension, nor a general-purpose chatbot.
  • It uses only what is needed: the request, the language and the current flow.
